Drangarnir and Søltuvík Viewpoint

-Follow the red posts along the path through the fields to the viewpoint and back.

-There is also a longer walk along the coast.

-If you only plan to visit the viewpoint, check your return route.

-The grass towards the viewpoint may be muddy.

-Use permitted parking areas rather than stopping anywhere along the road.

-Rock pillars and the rugged coast are visible beyond the grassland.

-A short walk off the road to the pasture viewpoint gives you a clearer view of the coast and rock pillars.

-This is coastal scenery on Sandoy, a different place from the Drangarnir boat tour on Vágar.
